Raycatch Is Looking for a Talented and Experienced Product Designer!
Raycatch is an award-winning renewable energy startup that has developed an innovative, AI-powered SaaS solution to optimize solar plants. We are on a mission to revolutionize the renewable energy market by enabling automated management of solar assets.
We are looking for a sharp and experienced Product Designer to join our team, to help us take our system to new heights and showcase our customer obsession with the best UI possible.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product management and development teams to deliver high-level results, with attention to detail, craft, and a consistent look & feel product
- Maintaining and evolving our system design, in collaboration with our front-end developers, to ensure the UI is consistently implemented across our product console
- Solving complicated design issues and turning user stories and roadmap requirements into intuitive, clear and effective user flows and experiences
- Following features throughout their full life-cycle: from ideation to implementation, hands-on in every stage: wireframes, prototypes, design mocks, guidelines & documentation, last-minute changes, research, customer and stakeholders feedback, next phases and QA
- Working closely with the development team:
- Creating UX specifications and guidelines
- Execution of UX/UI QA
- Creating and refining product style guide and component documentation
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience designing advanced analysis software services for professional and technological users, involving visualization of data and analytical solution
- Understanding the complexity and specificity of designing user experience and interface for B2B services, with various user and customer definitions and business goals
- Successfully taking ownership of your work inside a product pod and being capable of collaborating independently with product and R&D teams
- Experience working with complex desktop and web systems
- Expressing your ideas and opinions in a cohesive, communicative and compelling way, and holding your ground in professional discussions
- Being curious and always after learning new things
- Understanding the importance of designing whole flows and solutions rather than individual screens or elements
- Experience working with Sketch, Zepelin, Figma
Nice to have’s:
- Bachelor degree in Visual Communication
- Being fluent in English – both writing and speaking
- Analytical and tech-savviness
- Excellent soft skills and people skills
- CSS or any other programming experience
- Experience with UX research (user interviews, collecting and analyzing data)
